OUR PROJECTS

THE PEOPLE'S STORIES

- Hear the stories about the importance of the volunteers in the local environment

We work to highlight the volunteers within teams and associations to inspire others to participate. The volunteers mean a lot to their local environment and at the same time both young people and adults need to see what that means.

We have therefore created a project with a guide on how you, as an amateur, can tell about your immediate environment, and preferably about a zealot who has meant a lot to you or others.

Download the guide and send us your 30 - 90 second video by email. Ask if you have any questions along the way. We look forward to conveying what you want to say!

THE HUNT FOR A FIRE SOUL

In videos from villages and towns on social media and in other channels, we will talk to the zealots and people who know them, and give Norway an insight into who the zealots are, what drives them, what they do and how much it means not only for their community and communities, but also for themselves. In this way, we will inspire others to volunteer and contribute themselves the next time we are called to volunteer or if someone needs help with something.

CELEBRITIES AT DUGNAD

Celebrities often have the opportunity to engage many people by virtue of who they are. In the project, associations, organizations and sports teams who will be organizing charity events can contact us and apply to bring a well-known cultural or sports personality to the charity event.

We will profile the visit in advance through our own channels and in the local communities, and are convinced that this will create increased participation. We believe that this way we will be able to get people who don't normally volunteer to volunteer, then the experience, the community and the good feeling that having contributed to the local community gives, will lead to many wanting to volunteer the next time it is normal hard work.

HELLO CUP

In the past year, the number of asylum seekers who have come to Norway has increased drastically. Hallo-cup is a project that will try to help give some of these a sense of belonging in their local communities. Football is the world's biggest sport. Just mentioning the name of one of the big international football clubs can break down both linguistic and cultural barriers in an instant and give a sense of community no matter where you are in the world.

The same applies when you are on the field yourself. It doesn't matter if you've never played football before, if you're a woman or a man, young or old. You quickly get to know each other by having fun on the pitch together. Therefore, together with local football clubs and asylum reception centres, we will organize small, friendly and informal low-threshold football tournaments with mixed teams for everyone who wants to join.

The social aspect will be in focus before, during and after the matches, with the serving of food made by the local population and food made by the asylum seekers from the countries they come from.
